The National Statistics Bureau is pleased to release the 2022 Moderate Multidimensional Poverty Index Report. The NSB developed and estimated Moderate MPI for the first time in order to capture an accurate picture of poverty that considers individuals and households who may not be acutely poor but are still experiencing multiple deprivation. The estimates are based on the data sets of the 2022 Bhutan Living Standard Survey conducted by NSB.
